Tropical Miami Elopement at the Historic Walton House

Eloping in Miami, doesn’t always mean eloping on the beach, it can mean choosing a location at a tropical oasis. Jenna and Graham eloped in a 5 acre tropical oasis at The Historic Walton House. This venue is a 1917 English Style Cottage nestled in South Florida, and home to beautiful tropical florals, macaws, parrots, flamingos, waterfowl, cranes, giant tortoises, and monkeys!

The day started with Jenna getting ready in the Historic Walton House, surrounded by antique English-style decor and furnishings. This place was so unique, from the wallpaper, to the bathtub that faced a cage full of birds! You can see from the photos below!

They had their first look, in the garden, where monkeys surrounded them, it truly was an experience for everyone!

Their ceremony was so beautiful, and they had written each other vows and read them to each other during the ceremony. Every moment was just so special.

We then finished of the night with cake, and portraits around the garden. We also discovered this pond full of swans at the Historic Walton House, that literally reminded me of the Notebook. Jenna and Graham decided to get in the canoe for some photos, and the swans started to surround them! It truly was a dream!

Needless to say, their elopement was so beautiful and every moment was so intentional. I truly felt so honored to have witnessed and photograph this beautiful day!! Thank you Jenna and Graham for choosing me to be your photographer :)
