When you venture into a marriage, you want to take every step right. One thing that you cannot afford to put off is the location of your wedding. It is the single most important driving force of your wedding planning. If you are getting married in Florida, then it is pretty much a given that you are going to choose a beach location for your wedding. But what if you want a beautiful European-inspired venue? That is where I come into the picture. I have put together the top 15 venues to host a wedding in Florida with exquisite European architecture and dreamy photo backdrops in every corner.

Europe is a beautiful place with rich history and culture. European-inspired weddings are elegant, romantic, and chic. Florida has some stunning venues, and these are just a few of the best! Having experienced the magnificence of weddings at twelve of these locations firsthand- you can be confident that when I say Florida has some incredible European-inspired wedding venues, I am telling nothing but the truth. The majority of these can have outdoor ceremonies and receptions- I highly recommend my couples a clear tent for outdoor celebrations, just in case it rains. Vizcaya is a place where you can experience history and nature together in one, at their finest. The gardens, beaches fronting the bay, as well as ten acres worth of scenic views make it one historical landmark that will leave any visitors wanting more! Being one of the more popular venues among my couples, I am very familiar with the allure of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Vizcaya’s Main House is a stunning example of architecture from the early 20th century that has since been restored to its original condition. The home's design includes elements such as; polychromatic concrete tiles- arcading around windows on both floors, and ceilings in Roman-inspired arches with spiral patterns adorning each side, all typical features found throughout Italy during this era.

This Mediterranean-inspired estate, with origins dating back to the early 1930s, has everything from lush gardens filled with exotic plants and foliage scaling its walls, to an open terrace exhibiting a stunning limestone fountain and rooftops overlooking Biscayne Bay. I love photographing weddings at Epping Forest Yacht Club because of the modern-day Venetian architecture and the waterfront views. It's such a beautiful venue for couples who want to have a stylish and elegant wedding. The backdrop of the greenery surrounding the striking architecture makes this a picture-perfect wedding venue choice.

The lobby with its vaulted ceilings and warm light is perfect for timeless, editorial portraits. If you're dreaming of a Boca Raton wedding venue, The Addison has to be on your list. Between the century-old banyan trees, and the Mediterranean architecture, it's one of the most romantic places to get married in South Florida. As your South Florida wedding photographer, I can tell you this venue basically photographs itself. The courtyard is the showstopper. The buildings wrap around it, with 100-year-old banyan trees overhead and a cascading fountain in the middle, so you get that secret-garden feel with gorgeous dappled light for portraits. Inside, the Main Private Dining Room has cypress woodwork, a classic checkered tile floor, and soaring ceilings with chandeliers, which is perfect for timeless, editorial portraits (and looks amazing on film). For the reception at the Addison, there's also the Mizner Ballroom if you want a bigger party space.
